Drone Prep Course

The FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification Prep Course offereed in partnership with AINautics is designed to prepare individuals for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification exam to operate drones commercially. This course ensures participants are fully prepared to sit for the FAA Part 107 exam, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to pass the test and safely operate drones in a commercial setting.

Students will gain practical experience in takeoff, landing, maneuvering, and aerial navigation using industry-standard drones. The class is ideal for beginners, hobbyists, or licensed drone pilots who want additional flight practice. No prior certification is required—just an interest in learning to fly.

The National Safety Council’s 8-Hour Defensive Driving Course is an accredited point reduction program that is listed by name under SC Code 56-1-770.

“Any driver who has accumulated points under the provisions of this article shall have the number of his points reduced by four upon proving to the satisfaction of the Department of Public Safety that he has completed the National Safety Council’s “Defensive Driving Course” or its equivalent, if the course is completed after the points have been assessed.”  

Completion of the National Safety Council's Defensive Driving 8-Hour Course can be used for up to a four-point reduction in a driver's Motor Vehicle Record. (This information only applies to individuals with a valid South Carolina Driver’s License.)

Point reduction is good once every three (3) years.

Paralegal Core Competency Exam Review

(NFPA) offers a review course that is designed to prepare prospective examinees to take and pass the PCCE on their first attempt. This instructor-led course follows a PCCE study manual that is designed for successful completion of the exam. *You must have a PCCE test date scheduled before registering for this course.*

Topics include logic gates, timers, counters, memory functions, and basic communication protocols. By the end of the course, students will be able to configure, program, and maintain PLC systems commonly used in industrial settings such as manufacturing plants, utilities, and automated production lines.

Phlebotomy Technician

This course is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment as phlebotomy technicians in hospitals, laboratories, physician offices, and other healthcare settings. Students will learn the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to safely and effectively collect blood specimens for diagnostic testing. 

The course includes both classroom instruction and hands-on practice in laboratory and clinical settings. Upon successful completion, students may be eligible to sit for a national certification exam in phlebotomy.
