Forklift Operator Training

This Forklift Safety Training Program meets the regulatory requirements of CFR 1910.1781. This program includes safety, preventive maintenance and operation. The program incorporates slide presentations, videos, classroom discussion, written testing and hands-on evaluation.
OSHA requires that training takes place in the workplace on the actual forklift that is being used.
This is a general OSHA safety course and our practical training is done on a propane powered Hyster forklift.
Drone Flight Class
The One-Day Drone Flight Class is an accelerated 8-hour training experience designed for students, educators, hobbyists, and professionals seeking hands-on drone operation skills in a single immersive session. This course focuses exclusively on practical flight training, safety procedures, and mission-based exercises, providing participants with the essential competencies required to fly confidently and responsibly.
Participants receive a full day of guided instruction and supervised flight practice, including:
- Pre-flight planning and safety protocols
- Manual flight skills development, Simulator-based training (if applicable)
- Scenario-driven missions and obstacle challenges
- Post-flight debrief and performance feedback.
Defensive Driving
with Gregory Wells
The National Safety Council’s 8-Hour Defensive Driving Course is an accredited point reduction program that is listed by name under SC Code 56-1-770.
“Any driver who has accumulated points under the provisions of this article shall have the number of his points reduced by four upon proving to the satisfaction of the Department of Public Safety that he has completed the National Safety Council’s “Defensive Driving Course” or its equivalent, if the course is completed after the points have been assessed.”
Completion of the National Safety Council's Defensive Driving 8-Hour Course can be used for up to a four-point reduction in a driver's Motor Vehicle Record. (This information only applies to individuals with a valid South Carolina Driver’s License.)
Point reduction is good once every three (3) years.
Electrical Lineman

This program covers the installation, maintenance and repair of power lines and equipment that deliver electricity.
The Power Line Worker course covers the fundamental aspects of power line work to include safety, electrical theory, climbing techniques, aerial framing and rigging, and operating utility service equipment.
This one-level Power Line Worker curriculum is the foundational level for three different training pathways: Power Line Worker: Distribution, Power Line Worker: Substation and Power Line Worker: Transmission.
Students enrolling in this course will also obtain the following certifications: CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 Hour Construction Safety. Scholarships are available to those that qualify.
Plumbing Fundamentals

This course covers the fundamental concepts technicians need to safely install, test, maintain, and repair many different types of plumbing systems for residental, commercial and public buildings. Topics include safety, tools of the tade, math, drawings, pipe and fittings and fixtures. Scholarships are available to those that qualify.
